Mini Tag, Brag Book

Hey all, well it is with much sadness that I share with you today my final project from the Marion Smith paper pad - Junque Gypsy.  I have loved creating with this paper collection so much that I couldn't help myself I just had to use up all the scraps.  So here is my little mini Tag Brag book.

I have used some canvas type tags from my Mad About Scrappin kit

and then all these scraps,

to put together this cute, but shabby mini album....

Well it's another really short and sweet, but pic heavy post from me this week.  As always thanks for stopping by.  I sure do enjoy your company. Please be sure to check out all the Mad About Scrappin  links below to see what my other creative team mates have been up to and to see what is new in the shop.

Photo Folio/Mini Album

Hello Everyone, well it is Monday down here in my neck of the woods and it is time for to share my Mad About Scrappin Monday project.  Today I have a little photo folio that I have created using the gorgeous Graphic 45 Time to Celebrate paper pad.

I have been watching a few youtube vids on these of late and decided to give one a try.  I have made mine smaller than most, but it is great for those instagram pics.  I won't go into too much detail on how to construct this as there are soooo many tutorials over on youtube.

I have created the cover from some extra thick poster board that I have covered with some Dark brown Card stock and then matted with the papers.
I have used a paper punch to create a lacey border with I topped with some vintage cotton lace.  I have added some bling and flowers from my stash.  I created the closure with some crinkled seam binding that I dyed using Tim Holtz Tattered Rose ink.

On the inside I have created a pocket which holds three tags for journalling or they could be places to mat some photos. On the right handside I have created a double sided waterfall that will hold up to 8 photos.

Here are some close ups and more glamorous pics for you......

I also have a little pocket with a tag for journalling.....

Thanks so much for joining me today, I hope you have enjoyed this week's project.  As always guys....please check out the links below to see what other happenings have been going on over at Mad About Scrappin.

Raining Cats and Dogs - Mini Album

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog.  Today I have my creative inspiration project share for Mad About Scrappin.

You may remember my mini album from a few posts back....you can see it here.  Well I have another one of these super quick and super easy mini's.  This one is created much the same, except I've added a 1/4" inch gusset to the scalloped flap to allow room for the mini to expand.

I have created the inner pages from some plain white card stock.   These pages measured roughly 4"x 8".  I folded them in half and then with some crochet cotton I sewed them to the inside of the card.

Once my little book was constructed I mat all my pages with what was left of the Graphic 45 paper pad "raining cats and dogs". Once again I have  printed out some black and white photo's of our newest furbaby and  I alternated each page with a photo and a pocket with tags for journalling.  Again, I was surprised at just how quickly this little pocket mini worked up...I had it done in no time at all.  I tried really hard to not over embellish and to keep it "flat" but as you can see by the pics...I wasn't overly successful at doing that :) I have used a Creative Memories tag punch through out and fussy cut the images from the paper collection.  As usual readers here are all the pics...

I hope you have enjoyed this week's project.  As always guys....please check out the links below to see what other happenings have been going on over at Mad About Scrappin.
