March Sketch- Photo with Dad

Hi, I am here to show you today my take on the March Sketch. I tell you what I am LOVING the sketches!!! So easy to create with and make it to your style.

This is my daughter and her Dad on her first day at Kindy (3yrs ago, where is the time going???) First days of school is one of the few photos we get with the kids.

I have create my own background using mist and stencils and the layered the paper like the sketch. I have used Frames and Flowers for the embellishments.

With a punch, i punched a bit here and there from the border and then added some more embellishments on the right hand side.

Instead of having a title with the same alpha stickers, i wrote some for something different.
Here is the March Sketch:
Don't forget to load your take to be in the draw to win 2 awesome prizes.
Thanks for looking

Hey everyone...it's Monday and that means I am back to share with you all my Mad About Scrappin Monday project.

    •  Challenge is for Australian Residents Only.
    •  Entries are to be created exclusively for this challenge and must not be used for any other challenge or Design Team work.
    •  Entries must be added to the link by midnight on the last day of the month.
    •  Please link to the post that contains your challenge entry, not just your blog.
    • A prize will be awarded each month as voted by the Design Team & a Random Draw Prize.
    • Winners will be announced on the Blog and Mad About Scrappin Facebook Page.
This month our sketch was created by talented team member Crece Thomas.

and here is my take ......

I blew the dust off a really old collection by Graphic 45 - On the Boardwalk.  I have had these papers for so long and never used them so I thought it was high time I got creating with them.
I have layered a fabric doily with some mulberry paper flowers from my stash.  I have these a spritz with some glimmer mist and then curled the petals with a pair of tweezers whilst heat drying them. Love the extra dimension it gives.

I have added some vintage looking lace and fussy cut some elements from the paper pad.

Thanks for stopping by everyone... don't forget to link your layout over on the Mad About Scrappin blog to be eligible to win the monthly prize....plus come like us on facebook
Don't forget to check out the Mad About Scrappin store to see their latest stock....
